What an amazing discovery was announced at our last stated meeting! This Wednesday, tomorrow, on February 1 at 6 pm we have our monthly Parlour Night for members, spouses, and friends. This is truly amazing fun you won’t want to miss! Just ask anyone who attended in the past… so mark your calendar now and make plans to join in the fun!
This Friday Feb 3, several Texans are heading to Virginia City and will stay the night and attend Escurial Lodge #7 Stated meeting and installation of officers, on Saturday morning and into the afternoon. Three Texas renegades are hoping to be balloted into their lodge membership. Bring your wife and join in the fun. We will rendezvous at the Silver Queen about dusk Friday night.
We also have arranged to pipe SUPER BOWL LVII into the Parlour on Sunday, Feb 12, and will have a Texas style BBQ with all the fixins’ to enjoy the game! Suggested donation $25 and no extra charge for the good company and warm hospitality!
Master Masons, are you ready to ritual??!!: we are making plans for James’ Third Degree and need to set a date for practices and the conferral! Please attend the February stated meeting where we can make arrangements to bring this fine brother into the light of a Master Mason lodge!!
As a reminder, 2023 dues are now payable:
This year dues total $110.50 — $50 supports the lodge budget plus $60.50 goes to Grand Lodge as your per capita. Please remember that only Master Masons who are current on their dues are eligible to vote or hold office in Lodge, and we will be voting on some important issues at our February stated Meeting. You can pay dues online at the Grand Lodge webpage: https://freemason.org/ ; if you don’t yet have an account log-on, it is easy to set up but you will need your Masonic membership number, which is printed on your old Dues Cards. Thank you for your continued membership in “California’s Most Outstanding Masonic Lodge. Period.” We are such a unique lodge because of each of you. You are what makes Texas-46 special and you are what links her historic past to her promising future and the “Brothers-46” yet to come. FRI Feb 3 @ 6 pm Silver Queen Hotel rendezvous, Virginia City, NV.
SAT Feb 4 @ 9 am Texas-46 Visit to Escurial Lodge #7 in Virginia City, NV.
SAT Feb 11 @ 9 am Family Breakfast and Stated Meeting. Discussion on the grave discovery, and set the date for James’ Third Degree conferral.
SUN Feb 12 all day @ the Parlour — SUPER BOWL LVII and Texas Style BBQ Fundraiser. Come, bring a guest or two, and join the fun in our old Parlour with a Texas BBQ, whiskeys, and cigars! Suggested donation $25. Novelty retro arcade play is available as a parlour restoration fundraiser donation.

TUE Feb 28 @ 6 pm in Salinas: Officer School of Instruction. Open to all Masons
