March 9th 2024 Stated Meeting of Texas Lodge & 1st Degree

The March 9th 2024 stated meeting of Texas Lodge no. 46 Free & Accepted Masons of California was opened upon the 7th page of Job, on the first degree of Masonry in San Juan Bautista California, for the transaction of business and the most important work of Masons, that of bringing a New Brother into the fraternity in the 1st Degree. 

This Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons opened at 10:00AM with Worshipful Brother Raymond E. Hill IV PM in the East, Worshipful Brother Kevin Herrick PM in the West, Jack Swallow in the South.

Other officers, members, and visitors present are recorded in the Tiler’s register. Senior Deacon Robert Robbins, Jr. Deacon Charles Baylacq, Treasurer Jesse Rodriguez, Secretary Loren McKechnie, Jr. Steward Charles Hewitt, Tyler Jessie “JD” Deimas, Organist Robert Wilson PM

The Pledge of Allegiance was lead by the master, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.


READING OF THE MINUTES

PROFICIENCY of Jose Salas Jr.

The 1st degree work of Brother Jose Salas was exemplified with great skill, accuracy and passion, for all his Brothers to witness. The Brethren were quite impressed in his great work.  You will recall Jose Salas Jr is a 2nd Generation Brother of this lodge, his Father Jose Salas Sr. assisting in his degree, being made a Mason just a few short months ago.

REPORTS

Brother Jesus J Rodriguez requested to be officially be appointed to handle the real estate affairs of the Lodge Hall Association, to investigate our building permits and easements at the planning department. The Master appointed him thusly, and the Secretary drafted a letter for our Brother to represent himself as such.

APPLICATIONS & DEGREES


BILLS & PAYMENTS

The proceeds of the Breakfast Fundraiser today were $254 with $118.70 in food receipts for reimbursement to Brother Vanderpool. Thus, providing a $135 donation to the Building Fund.


CALENDAR


The Lodge was closed in due form at 12:30AM, peace and harmony prevailing.
