August Trestleboard- Stated meeting 8-20-2019

The August Stated meeting was well attended, and the brethren enjoyed more light beaming in from the East, on this warm and summer day.

August 24th Camping & Fishing Trip to Mammoth Mountain: A site has been reserved at the Twin Lakes Campground, additional sites are $21 / night. The current plan is to leave the lodge at 8:00 am on Friday the 24th and return Sunday the 26th.

Sept 6th Lodge Cleanup Effort:  Given our upcoming Community breakfast, and the offering of tours of the building to the wider community, it has been requested that able brothers pitch in, and “spiff things up, a bit” on the Friday evening before the breakfast. Contact WM Hill, or show up between 4pm-7pm.

September 7th Community Pancake Breakfast: The Lodge will offer the community a Pancake Breakfast and tours of the Lodge at 9:00am-high 12 noon.

September 21st Raising of Brother Matt LeBaron: 9:00 am Breakfast 10:00 am Degree.

Tx. Lodge Card Night: A proposal for a Lodge Card night, has been received, and accepted. Date yet to be set.  It has been reported that much fellowship, whiskey, and fun will be had by the attending brethren. Check with the Master, if you are interested in attending.

The Traveling Gavel: Seven brothers from Texas Lodge, visited Confidence Lodge 110 of Soquel, to take home the Traveling Gavel.

Proper Address: Officer Coach David Dreisbach offered the Lodge instruction on addressing the lodge, being recognized by the Master and the proper procedure and meaning of the due guard.
